  I bought a drive belt for my van from Wooton Trucks recently, and had a very poor experience with someone in their parts department, who repeatedly got the wrong part and failed to take responsibility for his mistakes. To make matters worse, when I got the final wrong part, it was the night before I was due to leave on a long trip. What should have been an awful customer service experience was utterly turned around when I get through to one of the directors on the phone by accident. At 18.30 on a Thursday evening he went and found every belt he could lay his hands on that might fit my van, drove over to me, helped me fit it and then asked me to explain exactly what had happened so that he could take steps to make sure it never happened again. The next morning I even had a text message wishing me a good trip and informing me that all my payments had been refunded and the belt was free of charge. Now that's customer service!
